FASHION DESIGNER / PATTERN CUTTER
• Multi-product Designer
• Work with high street and fast fashion brands such as I Saw it First, Influence, Wednesday's Girl and Native Youth
• Work with different customers who have very different styles and brand identity and tailoring my design approach to fit each customer
• Trend tracking and bringing newness of upcoming trends
• Trend prediction - I have developed the expertise of finding trends through both catwalk and social movements that suit the customer
• Lead the design team
• Attend buyers meetings in Manchester
• Work with the buyers directly on mood boards to research the latest trends, fabrics, trims, prints and colour palettes for each seasonal drop
• Liaise with suppliers, retailers and buyers alike
• Source and order fabrics, trims and prints
• Develop new prints
• Complete spec sheets, design packs, and range develop
• Attend fit sessions
• Create first patterns
• Work with the buyers and garment technologists on pattern amendments
• Create production patterns
• Cut patterns from samples or size specs
• Conduct fit sessions
• Instruct and assist the sample machinist in constructing the garments
• Instruct and assist production staff in production
• Instruct and assist the sealer/grader in digitising and grading the patterns
• Stepping in as a sealer/grader
• Stepping in as a garment technologist
• Stepping in as a graphic designer
• Helped the company set up and launch our own private clothing label

Creating capsule collections of limited pieces for London based retail company Ipseity, for their pop up stores all around the UK and Europe. My role included designing and presenting the collections, sourcing fabrics and trims, pattern cutting, manufacturing the garments and costing.
